Nat Grady

​

 

Nat is a UK northern based Voice Coach and Accent Specialist with 20 years experience in coaching actors. She works regularly in TV, film, and theatre.

Nat can offer coaching in all UK, American and European accents.

 

Trained as an actor initially at Drama Centre London, Nat understands the needs of an actor and key to her work is finding a route specific to each individual and project. 

Nat has a wealth of on set experience and will be on hand for the actors and the director and also support the sound team with articulation. She understands the workings of a set environment and the time pressures involved and is thorough and efficient in her approach.

 

Actors are always incredibly complimentary of Nat's detailed and understanding approach and how she helps connect the accent work to the intentions of the characters. Directors and producers are grateful to Nat’s input on set and her precision during ADR sessions in post-production.

Some recent projects include: One Day, Fool Me Once, Red Rose for Netflix, Happy Valley, Time (both series), The Reckoning, Boat Story, Virdee, Riot Women, Better, The Gallows Pole for the BBC, Feature film Midas Man coaching specifically The Beatles and Cilla. Natalie also has an extensive list of theatre production credits and is a regular voice and dialect coach at the Royal Exchange Theatre.
